Being able to stop safely is one of the most important aspects of driving an automobile. The MGB, in its hay day was technologically advanced in many ways. One of those technical advances was the front disc brakes. In 1962, when the MGB was launched there were only a hand full of auto makers using disc brakes. Today disc brakes have become standard . . . and for good reason. Disc brakes give us the ability to have better control in all conditions, enabling us to stop fast when something unexpected happens. Our new front brake system incorporates the latest in braking technology. Using 280mm x 25.4mm ventilated discs from a Honda, the advanced forged billet four piston caliper by Wilwood, and a newly designed hub, we have been able to create an affordable, high performance brake kit. Best of all, since all brakes wear out in time, the replacement parts for this kit can be purchased inexpensively at your local auto supply store. Other big brake kits use custom racing rotors that are expensive to replace and may not be available in the future. Honda rotors should be available forever. How it works
| Our design incorporates an all new C & C turned 1144 Billet Steel hub that is made especially to mount the ventilated disc. There are no adapters to space the disc and the rotors are very inexpensive to replace. Also available is an Aircraft grade aluminium hub that cuts the un-sprung weight in half. |
Our Big Brake Kit
280mm x 25.4mm ventilated discs that retail for less than $30 US each
Forged Billet Dynalite calipers that have 1/3 more pad area than the O.E. pads
1144 Billet hub with new bearings (pressed in) and oil seal
Kit includes all the necessary nuts and bolt for installation
Kit is just as easy to install as the original front brakes and calipers.

2 - Wilwood Forged Billet Dynalite calipers with adapters installed. (Brake lines not included. Use the stock lines.)

1 - Installation manual (The kit installs just like the original brakes on your MGB!)
*This kit will only work on MGB's with disc wheels and only using 15 inch or larger wheels.
